Sirmione

Out and about on a boat today. Head down to the water front for a coffee and a croissant. Then we jumped on the ferry heading to Sirmione. Two quick stops on the way, Garda and Bardolino. We took the servizio rapido, 1 hour. A beautiful day, and it looks like everyone has the same idea as us. We walk around a bit, then pick a spot for lunch. I had a pirlo spritzer and salad, Jack went with the calzone. More walking around and time for gelato. Most people have gone for double scoops, and some triple, a single is more than enough. Catch the slower ferry home, 1 1/2 hours, stops at Garda and Portese. These guys don't mess around, no doddling getting off. Back in Salò, stop for a small beer and pick up something for breakfast.  Back home for a bit, research for tomorrow's location change.
Thunderstorm, we've stayed in and skipped dinner, well Jack ate half of his breakfast.
