We started off with a tour of Mostar. The tour was great, we visited a Turkish house, where we learnt about a few different types of coffee: cold coffee, waiting coffee and salty coffee. We also went into Koski Mehmed Pasha Mosque. Mostar is really a lovely town.
Then we were off to Dubrovnik, about 3 hours away. Once we arrived we checked into the hotel and then headed to the sea - the weather is still hot. After a refreshing swim, it was time for a cold beer.
Next on the agenda, dinner in old town.
Our last group dinner.
We went to Sciabecco. I had the grilled scampi, a bit of work but well worth it.
And then, surprise, birthday cake, it was wonderful!
A few speaches were made. Another great evening.
Back to the hotel for a nightcap.
I am truly going to miss this group of people, the past week has been terrific, better than I could have imagined.
