Today our walk takes us to the Bjelasnic mountains, site of the 1984 Olympics. Our destination is Lukomir, Bosnia's highest village at 1,469 metres. Here the local villagers still follow a traditional way of life. This village was spared during the war due to its remoteness.

Lunch. Tasty pie, one was filled with potatoes the other with cheese, accompanied with homemade yogurt. Followed by Bosnian coffee. |
